Concept video demonstrating autonomous loading of fish feed in Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers, also referred to as "big bags"

As confirmed in a recent article* published by Teknisk Ukeblad, manual crane operations involving personell in quayside operations has resulted in an increasing number of serious accidents.

There is a great need for solutions that speed up quayside loading operations,
in a safe way, with as few personnel involved as possible.

Seaquent Labs is working together with SINTEF and Aukra Maritime to design and implement an autonomous solution for maritime FIBC logistics.
Faster loading and offloading has a direct impact on ship operations, and thus the potential to drastically reduce fuel consumption*.
